3 free tools to help you with compliance

Happy Thursday Reader,

In this edition of Three Things Thursday, I'm sharing three tools that you can use to ensure that your emails comply with the new bulk sender requirements by Google and Yahoo. These guidelines, effective on February 1st, are intended to help reduce spam and phishing.

Not sure what I'm talking about? Read this post from Google.

By utilizing the tools mentioned below, you can make sure that you are meeting the new requirements.

Postmaster.Google.com Follow the instructions to add a TXT record to your domain host, then verify your domain. Once that's complete, you'll be able to monitor your spam rate. Keep your spam rate below .10%.

Dmarcian.com will help confirm you have a valid DMARC record, which is one of the new requirements for bulk senders.

MXToolbox.com is a robust diagnostic tool that can help you check your DNS records and solve email deliverability problems.

By the way, each of these tools has a free version.

Every Thursday expect a fresh batch of tips tailored specifically to help you succeed in the online business space. Have a request for "Three Things Thursday?" Just reply to this email.
